Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your Kitawa Safaris driver-guide will greet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Relax and enjoy your first night in Tanzania’s safari capital.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobab trees and vast elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch by the river. In the evening, drive to your lodge near the park for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu

Depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a small but scenic park famous for its flamingos, hippos, and tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a relaxed drive with photo stops, then continue to Karatu for an overnight stay surrounded by the lush highlands.

Day 4: Karatu – Serengeti National Park (Central)

After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro highlands to Serengeti National Park. Stop en route for breathtaking views from the crater rim. Enter the Serengeti and enjoy an afternoon game drive before checking into your tented camp.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti

A full day of game drives across the Serengeti’s vast plains. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration or spot big cats on the hunt. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and a relaxing evening at camp.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After a sunrise game drive, head toward the Ngorongoro area. Stop along the way to photograph wildlife and landscapes. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim for dinner with panoramic views.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. Home to one of the densest wildlife populations in Africa, this natural wonder offers excellent chances to spot the Big Five. Picnic lunch near the hippo pool, then ascend to the rim and return to Karatu for overnight.

Day 8: Karatu – Lake Eyasi Cultural Visit – Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi for a cultural encounter with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Learn about their traditional hunting and blacksmithing ways before returning to Arusha for your final night.

Day 9: Departure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before your transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home, filled with unforgettable safari memories.
